I just got word, that my brother's company will soon need to dispose of some mobile homes. Single wide $500. Double wide $1000.

Mobiles are seldom a good investment, but for someone who is building, they can be a temporary home. Later it could be sold or turned into a workshop or animal shelter.

Figure about $1000 to transport and a bit more to set up on site.

My friend runs the Shakespeare festival. I'd like to plant a double wide on their barge. Tents have not done well at the windy location.

It may be a while before this happens. It only works if you're on Vancouver Island and have the right spot. Call Dale at 250 588 3366. I'll keep you posted as the situation develops.

I think so. I will check.

Are you on Vancouver Island ? It's usually best to get one very close to home.

Hey Dale a few questions regarding this old post.
Are they still available?
Any photos to show their condition?
I will be in Victoria in the next month for a week, could I have a look at them?

We a currently looking into land on the island an could have use for one that was in decent shape for temp storage/ shelter.

Thanks
