i should have started here first, but i just jumped right in on other topics.i was actually looking for a place to rant......Paul and your dailyish email.........I have actually spent the last three days in conversation with my group about building a rmh unit. This particular unit would be a rocket mass heater, stove with an adjustable head height to control temps, and oven, waterheater, and have a heat ex changer at the end[not to mention a warming tray area to rise dough and such]all in one unit and built out of cob. you might say well wheres the problem mongo....after our powwow the said i was out of my mind, and that i was taking it to far.so tonight i look for my daily dailyish and low and be hold theres an invite to the circus and what are the innovators doing this year you may ask??? this stuff the things ive try to make the non believers understand hahahahahh.so thanks to you goof balls i now know im on the right track with my ideas and know there is a need or a want for similar things. if i find the time to complete them all before next year be assured there may be another goof ball headed your way......thanks Paul and keep em comeing

Hi Mongo, welcome to permies! You'll have time to get lost on the forums, big stuff and great depth. Here you'll have the opportuniy to "speak about permaculture and making a better world through learning good things rather than being angry at bad guys" as Paul puts it.
I you want some reads that give you a focus on how the community works start from these:

universal welcome

and

how permies.com works

Nice having you here, jump the line!
