My wife and children live on 5.5 wooded acres with a 3/4 acre pond. I have been reading and ordering books and watching videos of introductory classes and studying and drawing like crazy.
I would love to meet some local folks and swap stories. Any of yall from these parts?
I have recently met some folks who are active in the Jackson area. Self sustainability in Mississippi is the name of the group. You can fond them on Facebook if interested.
Im in coastal Mississippi, finding other sustainable individuals in MS is quite a challenge. Its good to see some more folks! Im deciding where i would like to (literally) put my roots. Im of the mindset to enact change in one's neck o' the woods but currently confronted with the delicate balance of acreage vs. community. The questions often grow faster than the plants. Good to hear from you.
Hello from southwest Mississippi (again). Trying to find others. Hi to Brondum Krebs on the coast! I have lots of space here, and wouldn't mind sharing. In fact, since I'm alone, I might need to share or find a partner.
