I like the selection and price at kencove.com See their energizers on this page
http://www.kencove.com/fence/Electric+Fence+Chargers_products.php They seem to stand behind their in-house brand pretty well.
They also carry solar panels, and energizers to work with them for areas where electric is not available. If you go with solar plan a easy way to move your equipment as the deep cycle batteries, panels, etc. don't move easily over rough ground.
I run paddocks off of the road to my pump-house which cuts through my property. This way I can easily run electrical cords from the house to the energizers in tubs with snap on lids. Inside the tub I have a surge protector to plug it all into. I cut small notches on both sides just under the lip of the lid, and run the power cord in and the hot lead out one side with the grounding lead-wire going out the other. The tubs sit just outside the area, next to the gate for entry. In the summer we 'water' our grounding rods to make sure they are doing the job.
When I set up new line I leave the corners not connected, using 3 t-post next to each other instead. Then when I want to run electric in a area I connect the corners I want using jump lines. This saves me taking down and putting up line, plus heating up areas I don't need.
A neighbor of mine uses one large 37 joule energizer located in an out building next to his property line, and runs a perimeter hot line around the outside of his property. Then when he needs juice to a paddock he just connects it to the line running around the outside. All his paddocks but up to his outside fencing. This way they can heat up pre-set paddocks as they like.
