Hi, haven't posted for a while, just been busy with life.

Am looking for a new start in the drier area of the Pacific NW, eastern Oregon, Washington maybe as far east as Paul's Missoula. Have a dozen milk goats , working on building a herd of Finn sheep and have mixed poultry and LGDs. Would like to find a place to rent so can look for that just right place, an older homestead with some acreage. Can help with chores and am a reliable livestock person.

Will be needing to do something after the next 6 weeks to 2 months, am helping a neighbor with fall lambing, so need to finish with that before moving on.

Thank you for reading.

I have a 5 acre and 2.5 acre lot which has my sisters goat barn on it but no road access. There is no building on the 5 acres but there is an established driveway with dich for installing electricity. There are some camp trailers and motor homes ther that are from a failed attempt to set up a tiny home agriculture group one of them may be available.
The property description link is in my signature line. WE are slightly dryer here due to a rain shadow from the lower coastal range but still wet winter dry summer.
I am an experienced goat dairy farmer so I would trade for milk, caring for the goats if you have to travel.

Hi Hans Quistorff,
Do you have pictures of the barn? What kind of trees on the property? General layout of land? Any additional information would be useful.

I wrote a description based on Geoff Lawtons Video on what to look for in selecting permaculture land and posted it on my web site. Key Peninsula Farms If you have not read that do that first. The Goat barn is on the upper east boundary of the 2.5 acre parcel next to the parcel that contains my house. It is cement walls, in the ground on three sides. The original roof deteriorated and blew off in a storm which also lifted the hay storage roof from its posts so I put that flat roof over the barn foundation walls.

This Is the view from the 2.5 parcel toward the 5 acre parcel to the west.Facebook page of group that was going to use the land.
The wall of firs in the back ground is the west property line The next house to the west is on the far side of the next 5 acre parcel.

I do not have other picture on line but I could attach them to an email.

Hi Hans,
I did read that first. The facebook page doesn't seem to be available. I also saw what you had been doing, so maybe able to help you and your wife. Have multiple skills and been taking Holistic Management classes also.
