I have vertical overlapping slat fence all around my yard. H ow do you recommend trimming the grass by the fence? Thw wipper-snipper does not work well there. Do you have any suggestions for eliminating the grass that grows so close to the fence?

Sounds like a great spot for grapes or kiwi! How about some fuit bearing canes, or bushes?
