Hey Everyone,

Here at the Bullock's Permaculture Homestead last year's fall plant sale was so successful we decided to do it again! At our place here on Orcas Island, WA we'll be having a fall plant sale on Sept 25 & 26, 2010 with 20-50% off all the plants! We've got tons of fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, nitrogen fixers, bamboos and other useful plants.

See the details at http://www.permacultureportal.com/services_nursery.html

Hope you're all having a great start to your fall!

Dave

Hey dave, do you guys have any Tea plants, or Yaupon (llex vomitoria)?
Or good fruiting Hawthorns/good barrier hawthorns, or other good impermeable hedge bushes?
or Lespedeza seeds?

thanks, it would help a farmer in PA,
  Russell

Russell,

Currently we don't have any tea plants for sale. However, we have a nursery full of Ilex vomitoria right now. They should be available next year if they keep growing like they have been. For fruiting hawthorns we sell Texas Super Spur Mayhaw & Chinese Haw. For hedging we also have a bunch of osage orange right now. They make a mean hedge. Another plant we've been interested in trying in a hedge scenario is the Chinese Angelica Tree (Aralia chinensis), which we have for sale as well.

Unfortunately, we don't do mail order so assuming you mean Pennsylvania when you say PA it would be a long drive.

If you're in the area we'd love to have you, though.

Cheers!

Dave
