I grew up in Iowa and my mom was a world class cook, she made the best deer lasagna on the planet.
Pheasant was great in season. Rabbits, squirrels, morel mushrooms, etc.

Awhile back I found Recipe Land .com, it is a great site for finding
recipes to whatever you have to cook with. As an example I just did a search for Deer and 23 recipes came up.
For Rabbit, 92 recipes came up. And
for Duck 173 recipes came up.
And just incase there are Vegetarians around here,
3775 recipes came up.
