It seems as if September hits events hard and heavy because the impending cold will put a damper on quite a few of them. Here's another one coming up. The Rock Against Racism is in Caras Park from 4-10pm on the 18th.

I don't think there is. It's not mentioned in any ads that I've seen or on the site.

They weren't very bright, but they were very, very big. Ad contrast:
