We are a new farming family, with an older, established, 7 acre (or so) orchard.
We are located in NW Florida (In Santa Rosa County, FL, in an area called Allentown, which is just north of Milton, FL).
The orchard primarily consists of peach trees, grape vines, and blackberries.
There is a large open portion within the orchard that is available to plant crops.
Infrastructure is also already in place, including well and water lines.

We have the place to garden/farm. . . But, our actual farming knowledge and experience is limited.
So, we really need a gardening/farming mentor.

The ideal person (or persons) should be available on the weekends (not the weekdays), and who ...

--has practical gardening, farming, and/or orchard experience
--is able to help us maintain and improve the orchard
--is able to suggest and help in planting crops throughout the year for us, them, and market (if possible)
--can suggest markets and/or ways to sell our fruits and vegetable

We are hoping to find someone local, as we cannot offer any living arrangements.
Please reply if this interests you and/or you know of someone!

In return, we would be willing to equally share in the bounty of food and any monetary profits generated from such an endeavor.
Arthur, where are your pants? Check under this tiny ad.
