Hello Elizabeth..... We Love the Slocan valley, after looking around there this past summer.... hoping to find our new home. My wife, Sequoia in a native born Canadian, who has been farming in the states for a long time.... I, Sunny am from the states, having homesteaded in some of the most Wild, beautiful areas of the pacific northwest..... We are both very experienced gardeners and homesteaders... we grow about 90% of what we eat. We have a small(6) Dairy Goat herd and some chickens.... Sequoia, makes Yogurt, Kefir and various types of hard and soft cheeses. We eat the male goats, born each year... and we store about 2,000 lbs. of root crops in our root caller, for ourselves and the goats. Sunny is a Natural builder, using cob, straw bale, stonework and natural peeled poles..... building barns, greenhouses, tree houses, underground earth lodges, hand hewn log cabins, stone houses and beautiful Hobbit houses. Sunny also works on solar and micro hydro systems. Sequoia is a master gardener/ Plant person, goat herdress, and homeopathic practitioner..... We Both Love Living the Simple Natural Lifestyle... living Gently on the Earth... while Enhancing and nurturing The Web if Life. WE ARE LOOKING FOR...... A LOOOOONG TERM HOME. We presently are fully using about 3 acres, for a large garden, fruit trees, goat pasture, barn, green house and our little, (400 sq.ft.) round straw bale home.... So we were wondering if you would like to have your 3 acres, transformed into a self-sufficient homestead....AND Live Long term, (like the rest of our Lives) together there.... We are looking for easy going, accepting and loving folks to share caretaker-ship of a small piece of Mother Earth with. We have lots of skills and talents, necessary to live off the Earth and with the Earth, requiring very little money... speaking of money... we have a steady life long income and have no trouble earning whatever money we might need... Except we don't spend very much time chasing the dollar... so we don't have a chunk of $$$ saved up to buy land..... so we are looking for FOLKS that WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THEIR LAND WITH US.. Long Term..... in the pacific northwest or southern BC . We would love to have a year round creek or river, and gravity feed water is so appreciated..... good Strong gravity fed Spring is always a huge Plus in any situation....
