I am in a bit of a bind. I have a lot of Dungeness Crabs coming in the bay near me. In fact the last 2 days I have caught my quota in only 2 hours. As a result, I cooked, cleaned them but I have run out of room in my freezer
What would be the next best way of storing them? Smoke? Can?
I had a friend that had the same problem; but with rainbow trout. He smoked them; then canned them in 1/2 pint jars. I don't know why you couldn't do the same with the crab ; smoke them pick the meat out and then can it.
