Hello All,

My name is Laura, I am 57 years old and I live in Southern California near the Ontario Airport. I live in a 100 year old craftsmen house on a lot that is approximately 9,000 s.f. and I have a couple of rooms for rent. I am new to permaculture and taking an online course right now. Since I own my home and I am not able to move at the present time, I would like to make my home as permie as possible. There are a couple homes that are fairly local to me: one in Pasadena and one in Diamond Bar. They are turning their suburban homes into demonstration gardens and/or making profit on the produce they grow on their property. I have a small garden at the back of my property with a couple of fruit trees - the cauliflower and broccoli are amazing right now. I also have a small basement that would work for food storage. Anybody that is interested in seeing what can be done in the city, please contact me - Cuz we can't all move to the country - not yet anyway.

Hi Laura,
How have you done with your wish to go more 'permie' with your home in Ontario?  Are you still looking for folks to join you in this endeavor?

Hi Laura,

We are in your area (Corona) and just getting started with the permie thing.  Get in touch if you are still going for it!  Would love to connect with a local!
