Howdy from Texas

Hello, I am Heith and live in Wylie, Texas with my Wife and Mom. Our home is a base of operations where my wife has a dried flowers business while working full time at REI. I am working part time for a small Landscape design company focused on native plants and I am building a sustainable farm to market/restaurant produce business on leased land in Lavon, Texas. We love everything outdoors and dream of buying land and living as self-sufficient as possible using permaculture principles and designs. Our goal now is to grow our business to sustain a comfortable and healthy life, grow as much food for ourselves, family and friends and leave a less negative impact on our surroundings. I look forward to getting to know some of you and you will find me in growies!

We live in Cash about 20 miles east of you (almost due east of Rowlett an south of Greenville). We move to our homestead last August and I am building it full time while my wife works. Maybe we can get together sometime and talk plans for our property. Sounds like your plans are very similar to mine.
