This great piece of land is 8 hectares of untouched jungle. The land has not be utilized since 2002 which is great for an organic operation that would want to be certified. The property is 200 meters by 400 meters deep and is technically a corner lot. The land is located on the edge of Dzidzantun. A small organic farm was originally planned for this property.
There is a nature preserve to the east. Inside the reserve there is an abandon rock quarry that provides fresh water all year long which creates an intense biodiversity of wildlife in this area. To the north and south is raw land and to the west is pitaya operation. The property is about a 20 minute walk to the zocalo and a 5 minute car ride. Electrical lines run about 100 meters away and the water level depth is only about 5 meters in this area.
Dzidzantun is a wonderful pueblo to live in. It is known as the pueblo of teachers and has a higher standard of living than the average small town in Yucatan. For a town of only 8,000 people there is plenty of produce, meat and dry goods to be found. On Google Maps it does seem far from Merida, but it only takes about 30 minutes to drive to Altabrisa and 15 minutes to Motul. There is a well maintained highway located 10 minutes from the property that takes you straight to the Periferico.
The land is located on the same road that leads to the beach which is located 15 Kilometers north. The beach community is called Santa Clara and this quiet beach town has several seafood restaurants. Also nearby, are endless miles of undeveloped beaches in the area to visit. 590,000 pesos.
