The Native American's named it Ja Bidge .. the sound they heard when being chased by the Cavalry with cannon .. pale face screwed the spelling up and added an "r".

Today, the wore out mining town is just a watering hole for mis fits and out backs and on Saturday night .. if the crowd is to rowdy and would possibly kill someone coming in on the fifteen mile river road with 50% blind curves .. the bar tender quietly slips out the back door and "parks the town in" with giant earth scrapers and D-8 Cats.

The drunks come out and see the barricade and sleep it off in their pickups and the towns people coming in that night park two blocks from home and hike in .. not minding in the least. They didn't get a drunk through their windshield.
