Toby Hemenway will be teaching Seattle Tilth's yearly intensive
Permaculture Design Certification Course.
This course is ideal for anyone who would like to explore the concepts of permaculture in-depth and in a community setting, people who'd like to practice these principles in their lives and communities or anyone who might like to obtain a two-year diploma or other advanced trainings in permaculture.
Graduates of this course will receive a certificate on behalf of the Permaculture Institute USA. The certificate signifies the successful completion of a permaculture design course and confers upon the holder the right to use the word “Permaculture” in a business or professional setting.
This engaging 72-hour course is offered over six weekends May-October. Classes are held once a month on Saturdays (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Sundays (9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.). Dates are as follows:
May 21 & 22, June 25 & 26, July 16 & 17 , Aug. 20 & 21, Sept. 17 & 18, Oct. 15 & 16.
All classes will be held at the
Nobie Chan Education Center at South Seattle Community College in West Seattle. The address is 6000 16th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98106.
