Come to the beautiful Mojave high desert for a two-day permacultureworkshop with designer, teacher, and storyteller Warren Brush. Brush is co-founder of Casitas Valley Farm; Quail Springs Permaculture Farm; and founder of True Nature Design, a Permaculture education, community development, and consultation organization. Focused on sustainability and community, this two-day event takes place at the Harrison House, a beautiful and historic straw bale structure built in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
Permaculture design expert Warren Brush will lead participants through an inspiring and innovative two-day course in application of the ethics, principles, strategies, and techniques of permaculture to their homes and communities. Topics covered will include: sustainable home gardening, financial permaculture, thermophyllic composting, working with natural systems, and other relevant topics.
This course is important for everyone, including home-dwellers, gardeners, farmers, entrepreneurs, community activists, business owners and developers, and sustainability consultants.
Warren Brush has worked for over 25 years in sustainable systems design for private and public organizations and communities worldwide. He works extensively throughout five continents and is a consultant for USAID’s African Food for Peace programs. The weekend of learning begins with a lecture Friday evening.
