Hello Permieverse.

We'll be starting a Permaculture Nursery soon and want to garner as much information about beneficial/permaculture plants.
The Nursery is located in South-Africa on a south facing mountain foothill with the 40ha farm spread across an elevation of 330m - 450m. It's a Super Temperate climate and there is water EVERYWHERE!
We define Permaculture plants as those that supply either feed, fuel or fiber.

This is a great thread with a downloadable pdf - permies.com

Please let us know what plants you would want to see in a temperate-climate Permaculture Nursery. The usual suspects like comfrey & alfalfa shouldn't be ruled out.

Depending on the amount of replies we get, we'll set up another pdf within a month or three that specifically concentrates on temperate climates.

Thank you in advance.

Waldo
