This is really a post on how forestry and management of woodlands can be taught to the average person without a lot of incomprehensible intellect-speak. This is an example of a German Forestry who turned a forest around and made a profit for the district without all the destruction of heavy equipment and clear cutting that is so common with industrial forestry. It's also about his book about "The Hidden Life of Trees" and how working with the common people who come, visit and enjoy nature taught him to use simple descriptive words and expressions in reaching people about complex subject matter.
