it's a compelling idea. I wonder if just roofing over existing roads with solar panels might be more cost effective?

Designing a solar panel that's also a display that will function reliably while being driven over by 18-wheelers is no small feat. And the per mile expense? Whooooooooo.

I would like to see all highways covered with a "shed/roof" with solar panels on top, rain harvesting built in, you could even do a visual display on the "ceiling" if you needed that feature.

Hmm.

Where we're going, we don't need....roads.
