This is a link to an ad I've posted in craigslist. Since it's permies I'm seeking, I thought I'd share it here as well.

I'm cut and pasting the link, in case some felt uncomfortable clicking on it. Im not sure it will generate anymore interest, but it can't hurt to try.
$300 / 3br - 100ft2 - looking to share house and land with permaculturalists/homesteaders (strykersville)
image 1 of 5

3BR / 1.5Ba 100ft2 available now

cats are OK - purrr
dogs are OK - wooof
w/d in unit
attached garage

I have a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath house, that I'm willing to share with the types of people listed in heading. Each of the 2 bedrooms available are approximately 10 x 10. Rent will be 300 each plus an equal share of the utilities. Internet, use of common rooms and storage above garage included. Rent also includes limited use of 26 acres I have in Allegany county, just north of Ceres NY. The land is a mile up an old logging road, and very rustic. No water ( though I have located 2seeps) or utilities.
My goals include transforming the 3/4 acre yard into a Toby Hemenway type food forest, where eventually 90% of all our food can be grown . Raising some rabbits for food and fur. And possibly trying aquaponics setups in the basement. I also want to try raising goats and chickens out on the land.
Be aware that livestock is NOT allowed in the village, so any goats and chickens will have to either be culled, boarded or smuggled under cover of dark, into the garage,or back shed for the winter.
The house has a partially fenced in back yard, as well as an attached kennel. Perfect for larger dogs or small children. There is an extra large living room a dining room, upstairs laundry, a 12x15 sun porch and a 2car attached garage.
The land has trails for hiking or 4wheeling. Is surrounded by 100s of acres of more woods, couple of level areas to set up campers or tents and some pretty amazing neighbors. While the trails extend onto the surrounding properties, please do not think you can use them until after you've meet the neighbors and they've extended an invite.
I'm a single mom with two boys, and we will be sharing 1room, when we are there. I also have a great Pyreneese who comes with us, unless she is up at the land guarding livestock. (She kept 7 goats and 17 chickens safe from bears and coyote, for up to 3 days at a time, by herself)
I don't smoke and would rather you didn't atleast in the house. I don't use drugs, but I am 420 tolerant as long as it's not grown on my property, kept in large quantities in my house or used around my boys. I do drink, some. I'm not religious and while you can be, please don't preach. I appreciate being exposed to different ideologies, just don't expect conversions.
If any of this sounds interesting and you want more info, please respond.
