The nettles I planted this winter did fantastic --- most of them are growing below the citrus trees where the ladybugs can enjoy them. The ladybugs take care of the aphids, and all is well with the world.

But the two plants I planted near comfrey have either died or look like they are ready to.

Are nettles and comfrey mortal enemies? Anyone know?

I have wild nettles growing in my hugels that are doing just fine with comfrey. I think it might have just been a couple bad plants for you!
