For many the paleo diet works with stir frys.
I have been trying a cooking hack that is low cost and seems to work really well.
People have been using charcoal chimneys to cook with a wok.
I have found a extra wide charcoal chimney that works great.
This can be used on a grill. But I have been putting it in a hog feed pan from Tractor Supply and putting a few bricks under the hog pan.
With this simple setup I can quickly get a very high heat for stir frying.
Bricks were used, hog pan was about five bucks, wide charcoal chimney about fourteen bucks.

To other paleo cooking hacks.

1) Put a large metal steamer over coals. With water in the bottom temp cannot exceed around 240 degrees so you get steam. Great for greens, green beans, etc. You can add herbs and aromatics to the water to flavor food.

2) Old washing machine insides with a large slightly curved metal plate on top. Line the inside with fire bricks and put a few under it. Fill it with hot coals and put metal plate on top. Start cooling paleo tortilla and flat breads. Slap on, flip over, serve. You can really put them out due to the large surface area, room for many at one time.
