I live in the high desert of northern Nevada. I was out for a walk and found a plant I think is beautiful, but I can not find its name. Can you help me?
Thanks

Looks like a Penstemon species. probably a native plant in your area. collect seeds in a month or so and them out in the ground at your place. they'll probably come up at the end of the summer, in the fall, when you water them, or in the spring. It's beautiful. There are so many great species of Penstemon from western north america.

Fantastic. I found it, penstemon Palmeri. Thank you for giving me the name. And there are so many different ones out there, tons of colors. I predict within the next few years my yard will be filled with them.
