I'm interested in networking with and meeting the right people to start a sustainable eco village. I'm full of useful skills and am looking for other people with outstanding traits, be they skill, resources, or drive.

lets start a conversation, lets bring the right people together, lets go in on some land and be 100% off grid with no need for paying any utilities beyond internet.

Then lets get rich, leveraging our group bargaining power and investing intelligently (at least for those interested) while the others build our farm and economy on the local scale.

Looking forward to meeting some of the people in this movement, getting some organization, answers to some questions, and making new lifelong friends!

It is often helpful to suggest a location or area in which you're willing to live. Many people are committed to regions.

I left it blank intentionally, I'm open to other countries and other states.

I am myself most focused around the NC region so Asheville /western NC are givens.

Also, this "I agree" guy is spamming links about stoves. Please be warned.

We are in the Raleigh/Durham area, looking for the same. We have joined the Triangle Intentional Communities group but have not gone to a meetup yet. Send me a PM maybe we can chat a bit.

Hi Dustin, I sent you a PM with some ideas and a potential "win-win" offer, please let me know what your thoughts are on this. In the PM I included direct contact info... Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks so much, DD

Looking for something similar north of Detroit. PM doesn't work. I'd love to talk about any ideas for community living. I'm not sure how this message thing works on here, I'm new. Anyone can shoot me a text at (586) 930-4616 anytime. - Vaughn

Hi there!

We're also founding an intentional community. While we probably won't end up founding the same, since we're in Europe and you're in the US, I'm still glad to exchange information, knowledge and experience.

The best book I've found so far on the matter: Creating a Life together by Diana Leafe Christian. Helps making it more likely that you'll succeed.

Something we did, which is proving very interesting and helpful: We created a monthly open intentional community / commune meeting. It's free, there are drinks and snacks and everybody's welcome. So far we only met one person that might fit with us (but she's really great), but we got a lot of good ideas and most people got something out of it for themselves, which makes us happy as well.

We're this: communitytortuga.wordpress.com or in German gemeinschafttortuga.wordpress.com

All the best to you,

Jack from Tortuga

Hi Dustin! My name is Erin and my partner AJ and I will be moving around Asheville in April 2017.  We are skilled in many things physically and mentally, plus I do energy work and reflexology.  We are lloking to live in or near or be part of creating an intentional community.  We seek others who share our love of nature and try to live as sustainably and ecofriendly as possible.  We like the idea of gift or barter economy but are both will ing to have jobs outside the community if need be.  Please text or pm me for more info.

Namaste

Erin

Sorry about the late reply the website was sending my messages to an old defunct email address!

I have a group on facebook of Intentional Community seekers who also happen to be Anarcho-capitalist/Voluntaryists by philosophy. (Respect for Non Aggression principle, natural rights, private property rights, stateless society ultimately)

We have a discussion group on Facebook for the purposes of getting some communities started. Would love to have more likeminded people join us, and see many spinoff communities. Our first is starting next month I believe.

If you two don't stop this rough-housing somebody is going to end up crying. Sit down and read this tiny ad:
