Anyone know about the Cristalina variety of prickly pear cactus?

Good sources for cactus pads?  Tips on growing them in a semi-arid area (I live in a valley that gets very hot and dry but it NOT desert; it's oak woodland/oak grassland originally)?

Any information is appreciated.  Thanks
