Underground / Earth Integrated / Wofati projects close to NYC?

Hi, I'm looking to volunteer on a project building an earth integrated/underground house somewhere relatively close to New York City. Somewhere upstate or western Connecticut would be great!

I'm keeping an eye on WWOOF, but I really want to focus on a house building project instead of general farming.

Is there a site like WWOOF where people post specific projects so I could sift through to find the project that suits what I'm looking for?
