Hey everyone - we've put out a few social media blurbs about this, but I thought I'd drop a line in the forums here about this interesting event that's going on next month in Santa Fe, NM, USA.

Our buddy Nathan Crane is putting on a big event September 22nd - 25th, which will serve to bring people together for music, art, sustainability, health, and so much more.

Workshops and speeches are part of the event, but it seems to be more about the experience of coming together with likeminded individuals more than anything else. This is also a family friendly and sober event.

You can read up on all of the details of the event here, and on Paul's upcoming speech here.

Get tickets here.

Here's a cool little video on Facebook that gives you an idea of what the event is like - so beautiful!

Paul just recently did a radio interview with these guys too - you can give it a listen here.

If you'll be at the festival, here's where and when to find Paul:

Saturday, 9/24 - Viento Stage
12:15 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Panel - Community Building
Paul Wheaton, Makasha and Katherine Roske

Sunday, 9/25 - Sol Stage
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m
Paul Wheaton - Top Twelve Bricks to Build a Better World

There's more to see and experience, of course, in the Unify schedule.

Paul was offered a tent in the "Visionary Village" at the festival, though with music going into the evening, we thought it might be a bit challenging to sleep at Paul's preferred/normal 9:30 p.m. bed time. "Early to bed, early to rise..." and all that. Plus, Paul wants to be at his best for his speaking gigs.

So we were able to find a Santa Fe Airbnb home that likes permaculture and has backyard chickens - as Paul likes to say, cool beans!

If you've never booked with Airbnb before, both Paul and I highly recommend it. Plus, here's a link for $35 off for you, and a nice credit for us if you do:  airbnb.com $35 off.

This is a bit long (9 minutes), though I SO appreciate Nathan's thoughts on why this is a sober festival. Fan-fucking-tastic!

(Please note:  I think discussing alcohol and drugs would generally be a cider press topic, and any discussion of using, or not using substances are better posted there - where a minimum number of apples are needed to post or reply. This video was posted here just to explain and describe more about Unify Fest.)

Here are Paul and co-founders, Katharine & Makasha Roske, of the nearby community Hummingbird, providing a panel discussion about community yesterday.

Here's a little 36-second example of the day time music and crowds at Unify Fest.
