Aloha!
We are a family of 4 with awesome children ages 10 and 6, currently residing at a homestead in Alaska, looking to relocate warmer (tropical) climate as the winter approach here.
We are looking for like minded/spirited people, preferably families with children, who would like help in homesteading.
We have experience in care-taking rural properties, off-grid living, taking care of dogs cats and racing pigeons, milking a cow, goats, cheese making, canning, raising chickens with no commercial feed, bee keeping, cooking for large groups, homeschooling, unschooling, organic gardening, food processing, foraging, fishing, biking, horses, cooking on fire... To name a few. My husband can do mechanical repairs although he prefers to be out in a garden using his hand tools... he can tell you more about himself later.
We are open to learn more skills.

Although we lived in few "intentional" communities, we are looking for like minded people organicly formed community. (Like a village) We will be as self contained as possible.
It takes a village to raise children, thats what we are envisioning. They need safe environment with interesting individuals to learn from and grow together.

If you would like to know more about us, please let me know!
Thank you,
