Some times, there are things that are difficult to recycle, even in the most eco household. Missoula, like many other larger cities, offers Hazadous Materials Disposal Days, which are coming up soon this year!

Check out hazwastemissoula.com for more info on what they accept. Here's the 2016 basics:

Friday, September 16th - 9 am - 5:30 pm

Saturday, September 17th - 9 am - 4 pm
