Coming up this Saturday October 8th at Green Path Herb School in Missoula is a Medicinal Seed Gathering and Garden Walk
This class will more than pay for itself with all the seeds you get to collect, as well as learning about how to use the plants! Some, just some, of the seeds you can gather at this class include fennel, marshmallow, boneset, goldenrod, echinacea, lemon balm, rue, wood betony, elecampane, oregano, parsley, figwort, mullein, calendula, catnip,
flax, wild carrot and soapwort.
"Medicinal plats are usually pictured at the peak of flower or berry, but what do they look like in the fall? This class is a unique opportunity to learn to identify medicinal plants as they begin to go dormant. Collect seeds from herbalist Elaine Sheff’s medicinal gardens to plant in your own garden for the coming year! Bring bags for collecting if you have extra.
Saturday October 8, 10am-12 noon • Cost: $25"
