The Permaculture Calendar is back again, now in it's 9th year. Each of the 12 months feature a design principle, starting with the Rocket Powered Oven, illustrating the first design principle Observe and Interact.

The calendar includes a moon planting guide that is suited to both the northern and southern hemispheres. Icons are used to indicate which moon phase you are in and what types of plants will most benefit from seeding or transplanting. There's also indicators of when not to plant, instead to take on other garden activities like weeding, harvesting, mulching or building compost.

A little bit of inspiration for every day of the year.

Available in the US and Canada from Permaculture Design Magazine and Permaculture Magazine Nth America, as well as in the UK, NZ and Australia.

Two tiny ads walk into a bar. The bartender says:
Heat your home with the twigs that naturally fall of the trees in your yard
