Ugni myricoides -Black Chilean Guava

It's a close relative to Ugni molinae or the 'Chilean Guava' but I cant find much about myricoides. It seems to have a more native range in hotter areas compared to molinea so it may not be as suitable for my climate but maybe it's possible to make a hybrid?
