Holiday Happenings in the Missoula area

With Christmas being less than 10 days away (9 as of today)  just wanted to tell of the goings on in the area to get the Christmas spirit.

Montana Actor's Theatre presents: A David Sedaris Christmas
Santaland Diaries and Seasons Greetings  - 2 plays starting at 7:30.  Get $2.00 off the $12 (adult) and $6.00 (student) admission by bringing a toy to donate to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Missoula.

on Thursday 12/23/10 you can attend the DalyJazz Christmas Party featuring tunes from the Craig Hall Trio.  Starts at 7:00 p.m. at DalyJazz, 240 Daly Ave.  RSVP.  Cost is $25.00

First Night Missoula, taking place Friday 12/31/10 (New Years Eve) is hosting events from noon - ?  Theater, dance, music, poetry readings, plays, comedy, family entertainment.  At various locations downtown.

The Missoula Art Museum on 335 N. Pattee St will have a New Years Eve/First Night from noon-5:00 p.m.  Looks like the same activities as mentioned above plus food.  The museum will showcase performaces by stylistically influence cellist Lee Zimmerman at 2:00 p.m. and multi-generational ensemble Jazz Graffitti at 3:00 p.m.  MAM will also host children's art activities.
