I just watched this and thought it worthwhile to share.
The big important news in this is they are discovering that the beetles are completely ignoring certain healthy
trees while attacking the unhealthy/stressed ones. So even if the beetles progress can't be checked or halted, natural selection might ensure that pines survive.
