We kinda went a little bit of "cart before the horse" when we got our family milk cow this summer!  Ideally we would like to be able to keep all of our cows out on pasture for the winter with access to the woods for protection during the worst storms.  We ended up with a Jersey though and although she is solely grass fed she is not very hardy.  Anyway, I thought I would share a video of my stopgap solution for this problem, thought it might be useful, enyoy...
