Just added this lovely old catalog page to the collection. Clear diagrams of distinct cradle patterns aren't common, and until now I had only read descriptions of the so-called "Mulley" or "Mulay" patterns and seen blades with the heel set open to be used with such snaths. Glad to finally have solid reference material for that family of cradles.

Very interesting. Do you know the purposes of the different models? Is it just preference?

Stylistic preference. Much like the many varieties of grass and bush snaths for conventional scythes.
