Good hand-powered kitchen devices?

My sweetheart's hand crank coffee grinder he inherited from his grandmother works like a DREAM.

Was wondering if anyone else has hand-powered tools in the kitchen? Are they good? Do you like them? What's the quality of the product?

Thats a great post question. I have bought tons of crap over the past few years it either doesn´t work and the appliance wobbles around or it breaks where it screws together or the steel bends and doesn´t work anymore. One exception is flea market purchases of really old hand tools i have some great mills that i have to sharpen with a round chainsaw file and that bolt to the countertop. unfortunatly for this post they just have a tiny stamp in the metal and probably arent made anymore.  I would be keen to find a good hand powered blender. They arent so cheap and id hate to buy another throw away. on a side note i just about finished setting up a bike powered washing machine, if your keen, i can post a picture here for you.

sorry it took a bit to get back to you. The washing machine is connected to an old exercise bike. there is a sewage outlet in the floor in front of the machine (or i can empty it into a bucket) and on the other side of the wall is the kitchen sink where il be running a water line into the old detergent tray on the front of the machine. the bike needs to be bolted to the floor to keep the belt tight but the floor is being renovated so it will have to wait.  i have solar power only for the house so i don´t have enough power to wash through some of the winter and my electric machine is half sized and doesn´t fit blankets.
