I just wanted to share something with you I hope it is a good place to do so.
I have started to organize urban permaculture workshops in Warsaw, Poland three years ago. Small events, focused on simple topics.
At the start, we (and by we I mean owners of the co-working centre where these workshops are taking place) had a problem to get a group of ten participants.
Two years ago, we had about fifteen on each meeting.
Last year it has been close to thirty people and we have considered it to be the maximum amount we can handle.
Recently, we have announced first event for 2017 - a two hours workshop on rising your own food in containers.
In a week, we had .... 332 people willing to participate! Over 2400 people observed the event on Facebook.
None of the workshops in the co-working centre has ever get near that, ever.
We are of course planning to repeat this workshop soon.
There is a hope, people are really starting to wake up, let's infect their brains with permaculture
