I just came across this website and was really impressed so I thought I would share it:
http://www.aranyagardens.co.uk/Diploma%20Portfolio/About%20Diploma%20Portfolio.htm
It's the permaculture design portfolio of a man named Aranya, and has some really excellent ideas and beautiful photographs, including this one:
It includes a description of how he turned a gravel parking lot into a garden in 2 years as well as many other projects. Pretty cool!

Also of related interest 3 permaculture design courses for 2008 at www.permaculture.org - "Learning Destinations in Colorado, Mexico and New Mexico" Great website for permaculture in the southwest and nationwide.
