Hi,
My family and I (2 adults, 2 small kids) are looking to stay and ideally help as much as we can, on a permaculture farm somewhere in Northern California, Oregon or Washington. Maybe like 2 weeks. Anyone know of a place that welcomes visitors like this? Or even just a b&b that is on a permaculture set up, especially a forest garden. Thanks!

Hi Kristen!

My place is way to tiny to host you, unless you want to camp, and my place isn't that far along either. BUT, I do know of a few places that maybe might work out. One is CopperMoon Advanced Retreat Center (http://www.coppermoonie.com). They're located northeast of Seattle, in the foothills. One of the owners, Scott McBride, is here on permies, so you can send him a "Personal Mooseage." But, you might get a faster response via his webpage or facebook page  (https://www.facebook.com/CoppermoonARC/?fref=ts)

Another place is Windward Ecovillage in south central Washington (Klickitat county) http://windward.org. One of the members, Andrew Schreiber, is here on permies, so you can send him a "Personal Mooseage" or contact Windward via their webpage.

There's probably more Cascadia permaculuralists able to house you, these were just the ones I found here: https://permies.com/t/52406/Cascadia-Bloggers-Websites-Facebooks-Project

I hope that helps and you're able to find a place to stay. If you end up in the Seattle area, your more than welcome to swing by my place for a tour. I live not far from Coppermoonie .
