When I was a teen my dade bought us each an army surplus jungle hammock. They have a roof and mosquito netting sides with a zipper closure. I have used it in all kinds of situations. Even on a picnic table with an air mattress. Wit a down sleeping bag and it you can survive almost any night, even bears.  When the frightened bear hit the bottom of my hammock and it saung back and hit him in the rear and the same again with my sisters he did not stop until he had flattened a row of tents in the next camp ground, but wee went right back to sleep.

Sasparilla and fresh horses for all my men! You will see to it, won't you tiny ad?
