HI
I am now based in central Germany, Hessen, and am planning to find some land/farm etc, to set up a forest garden, live with alternative energy etc... Would like to get some advice about how/where to find something. I am opened to different locations (except for the north of Germany), and, would be nice to connect with other permies in Germany to share advice, experiences etc... Thanks!

Check out the website selbstvers.org. It's similar to permies.com

Thanks for the useful info, Bettina and Aimee, interesting.
Also, I am happy to connect with places/people all over Germany, I checked Kuckucksmeuhle, looks really nice, even if I don't intend to buy land that far up, I am always happy to travel/visit/help out and learn from others...
