Hi there, I'm new here. Is this the right place to say hello?
I live in North East Scotland in the middle of a rural area.......one bus a day, nearest small town 12 miles away etc.
We have a 3 acre holding which we have been developing with permaculture principles for around 16 years. We keep a few sheep and chickens, the occasional pigs and grow most of what we eat of course.
I found this site from a few links one of our forum members added and was most impressed.
Looking forward to learning from all of you, if I may

Hello and Welcome Hervor,

Yes, this is a good place to introduce yourself, glad you found us!

Scotland, wonderful, maybe you can post some pictures of your holding later.  Always nice to see what others are doing in different regions.

You may already know this, but.... when you are posting a message there are the words "Additional Options..." just below the Message text field box, on your left.  Click on that and you can upload 2 images from your computer which will appear at the bottom of your new post.

I look forward to hearing about what's going on in your neck of the woods

~Jami

No, I didn't realise that, thanks Jami
Nothing looks very nice at this time of year but i could get some pics in a few months time when the spring arrives.......love it when the buds appear. We have had lots of snow over December and even the sheep are a dirty grey colour at the moment.

I understand....    I too have mud - on the ducks, but it's the same around here, not the best photo time of year.

I'm glad you now know about adding photos so when you are ready you can share your projects with all of us.
