We welcome you to come and grow with us on the sides of an extinct super volcano, in a conscious-living yoga and permaculture community, with the majestic panorama of Lake Atitlan.

.This bhakti is a celebration of the botanical world, and a collaborative exploration of Guatemala’s wild edibles and medicinals, plant dyes and plant folklore. We will be drawing upon the knowledge of local people and experimenting with plant uses and cultivation. We will be studying the landscape, going on adventurous botanical forays into the mountains and forests and tuning into nature with all our senses and deepening our awareness and connection through the practice of yoga and meditation.
This course is suited to those really wishing to deepen their understanding of the plant world and practice permaculture techniques. It’s for aspiring gardeners and earth tenders with a desire to understand the relations of soil, plants and animals and directly work with them.
This is especially suited for PDC graduates who are looking to acquire essential skills in gardening, plant identification, and living among an experimental permaculture conscious community.

Medicine making
Up-cycling your old clothes with wild plant dyes
2 Day nature mediation hike into the mountain.
Making fibre bags from the agave plant
The free way to get trees and plants
The magic of soil
Seed saving and garden design

Forest gardening
