We have an IC in Richfield, (Northern) Ohio, next to Nat'l Park. We have a number of folks who live here full time, and wwoofers who visit often. It is quite rare for us to eat a meal without company. We are a community of several parts. We have a number of
permaculture and organic gardens. Lots of farm animals. We run a farm share CSA. We have a large working museum in the period 1820 to 1920 (we have every shop and tool common to a small town 150 yrs. ago. There is very little we can't build/create/fix in a non-electric world). We run a heritage school and teach classes in herb finding & use, candle &
soap making, fiber arts (sheer the sheep to weave the cloth), "primitive" survival skills, Ancient Traditional Wisdom & Prophesy, and more. We homeschool. We still use electricity because it is convenient, but have little actual need for it. We are always looking for another person or two to join us. The 2017 summer issue of "New Pioneer Magazine" has a feature article about us for more info. Let's talk. Jim & Laura and kids, and others.
