Hello all,

We are a small family of four and we are looking to get away from the city and start understanding food and being self reliant. This is all new to us but we are serious about learning a new life style. My husband and I have been talking about this for years.

Does anyone need assistance on farm or land? We have no clue where to start. We are open to relocating out of California. Since we have two children we would like some type of accomadation. We are ready to start asap. There is a lot of info on this site, hopefully this is the right place to post.

Thanks
Geraldine

Hi, I have a start-up permaculture farm in Northern AZ. The property is irrigated. We have a studio guest house that we could exchange for work. If you want to talk more contact me at tggsd@outlook.com

We are doing a lot of self sufficient activities on our farm.  Firewood, food preservation, solar power, veggie growing, cows for milk and meat, chickens, etc.  Our neighbor owns a house down the road that is up for rent, for the cost of utilities and yard maintenance/light carpentry.  I just posted an ad for the place on this forum with more details.  Let me know if this sounds like what you are looking for.  BTW the winters can be cold snowy and gray here at times, and there are bugs in the summer.  You have to enjoy being outside and be at least a little "tough".
