If we would be a good fit or you know of a community seeking 2 great people email me at Jaraddavis91@Gmail.com thank you
We have a 40 acer working homestead in wa state. We're looking for help with our expansion over the next 2 years. I've posted the opportunity in the volunteer section here and on Craigslist at https://spokane.craigslist.org/prk/6243576375.html let me know if this sounds like what your looking for.
Also on the community side right now it's just us and one other couple, you would make the 3rd couple. And we have some pretty awesome neighbors to. It's a small start to a much larger homesteading community we hope to establish not just here on our land but on other near by land that is for sale. This is a long term goal for 2 reasons, 1st we just want to help other people get a head start with their own near by homesteads because you can never have to many in a neighborhood, and second we hope to eventually set up a homestead equipment sharing library where our fellow homesteaders can have cheap easy access to the high dollar equipment like tractors, heavy equipment, and harvesting implements.
Hello Jarad and Hannah,
we are just starting out with homesteading. We have 80 acres in southeast OK. We have a large main house, with 2 empty bedrooms and empty bathroom. We have an unfinished cabin as well. Chickens, goats, fencing now, plans for LARGE greenhouse this summer, etc..
We are converting main house to be off grid and us living self sustaining.
If interested in talking more, contact us VicciBailey at gmail.com or here. I am new to this site, and I dont know if I will find my way back! lol (Ive literally just been on here for 15 minutes).
We are looking to share this lifestyle with others.
We ranch 110,000 acres and have a small irrigation capability. looking for couple that could take over responsibilities in raising garden, small grains and farmyard animals. our goal is total self-sufficiency. we also have a large timber potential with 2 sawmills. we use horses for our ranching operation and have used draft animals in our logging in the past. we have mechanical equipment also. please contact if interested
