I've been collecting bricks and cinder blocks in the hopes of using it to build...something.
We're looking for people to partner with, who would build small one room living structures that we would rent out. We wouldn't necessarily be able to pay a wage up front and would ideally have some sort of profit share arrangement with the builders. How does that sound to you?

I found this Forum when doing some research on Rocket stoves onlline and LOVED IT!... Love the whole concept and Idea, it's very simliar to a masonry heater, yet very economical![]()
I'd love to help anyone build one of these projects or simply chime in on any questions from time to time..Be it motar mixes, cleaning of old brick , sources of reclaimed brick for projects , or any masonry questions?
I'm pondering the idea of putting one in the basement of my new home..Selling the wife on it may require help![]()
Look forward to the learning and sharing experience.

Hello,
I just finished a RMH in my greenhouse...
I am in scotland ontario, possibly looking at the idea of putting in a masonry heater into our house and would like to get a better idea of costs and chimney venting. would like to have a bake oven too.
Do you build these for people? I can also help with the install as labour. Do you know where to get bricks in this area?
thanks,

I just built one in my 12x20' greenhouse, works great. Also interested in the idea of small 10x10 Cob Cabins heated with rocket mass heaters(interested in building one or many depending on the relationship/living arrangements for on-site etc) Do you have land to build on?

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Hi Organdy. I've got 100 acres, and we can have up to 5 acres of our land covered in buildings. If the building is under 109 square feet there is no permit needed.
